Meridia Capital has trusted FORCADELL and JLL to commercialize the Midtown BCN, a corporate building located in the 22@district, next to the Auditori in Barcelona and close to the Plaza de les Glòries. The property was built in 1966 and is currently undergoing a comprehensive reform by the architect firm PichArchitects, which will be ready by the second quarter 2022. This reform allows the building to apply for a platinum Leed Certification, which is already being processed.

Ignacio Sobrino, JLL’s Office department director, affirms that ‘the 22@district, where the Midtown BCN is located, is now one of the most important tech and innovation hubs of Europe, for its location and its impact on urban development’. Sobrino adds ‘the next years it will continue raising interest, consolidating the district as a benchmark in European economic innovation. This is proven by the concentration of more than 65% of high quality sustainable buildings of the future demand of Barcelona’.
